My humanity is bound up in yours, for we can only be human together.— Desmund Tutu
It’s easy to find information about autism, but it’s not always easy to find information about what that might mean for an adult who’s newly diagnosed. This workshop is designed to help adults who were already over 18 when they learned that they were autistic. How does learning about autism change who you are to yourself? How does learning about autism change who you are to other people?
How do you tell other people about autism…or do you tell them at all?
This four-day workshop will provide a time to consider these questions in a safe, intentional environment, with presentations and activities to help each participant explore their own answers. Each workshop participant will leave with a short video that they’ve created during the workshop to share with other people back in their home communities, as well as an experience of the larger ASD community. Optional social activities will be planned in the evening.
Click here for $25 application fee. When your payment is complete, you will be directed to the TAG Application.
Thanks to the generosity of a donor, all application fees will be waived for this workshop. Click here for the TAG Application.
